R.I.P Letter to my dearest friend, best friend, and former chicken.

While I may not be that good at describing my emotions towards people, or my feelings when I lose them, I can go into great detail about animals. As said, I have been through many great companions passing away, whether planned or not. Illness, attacks, or old age. I know that usually, a few "best wishes" may help, but it is the long and tedious responses that offer more...how to put it...comfort.

I feel that someone truly understands what I am going through when they take the time out to respond and get to know the situation more.

I am a big lover of chickens, 3rd generation. I know how amazing of a creature they are, and it sounds like your Baby was something special.

May I ask, what funny memory arose when you read my post? I'd love to hear more about her. Being held on her back and riding on your bike are two wonderful stories!

Well when she was in my hand when she first hatched she looked up and chirped. it was funny because she looked rly ugly.......which made her look like the cutest thing in the world!!

I teared up reading this.

I know what it's like to have a chicken around, then lose them. I had just went to go say goodnight to my three remaining chickens. Amulet, Pepper, and little Fuzbutt. I gave them hugs.
When I woke up, I went to go say good morning. But lil Fuzbutt was missing. I found her head under the coop, her body gone. I cried and cried, and to think I had just said goodbye last night, and directly after I shut the door, I heard screeching. I had thought that they were saying goodnight to me, but Fuzbutt was being attacked.

I'm sorry, may Fuzbutt and Baby live forever in chicken heaven, playing together.
