Well, a carpet shock is up to 25,000 volts. 30 probably wouldn't hurt that much more, so a stubborn animal might manage to put up with it.
Is there a list anywhere of what voltage animals will tolerate?
I'm curious; how do you know how many times it hit the fence? Do you have a recording, or hair on the fence?
I was just guessing, sorry I shoudve put 2-3 shocks. It says it holds in livestock etc. My dad told me to get it.
 
i trapped one of the coons used chicken feed and a goose egg that night it was trapped but had to wait till morning guess what it was gone the egg and the feed was gone it had help grrr. found out it was a momma coon she got hit on the road in front of the house. they get desperate during this time . havn t seen any since but I pick up all the food at night the ducks stay with the geese during the day and locked up in ft knox at night all baby geese are to big now and are with the flock so far ok.
