Missing 8week old Muscovy

I hatched 20 Muscovy ducklings after their mom was killed by a raccoon. Found homes for all and kept 3. They are now 8 weeks old and outside with a pen that’s open during the day. This afternoon I went to check on them and one is missing. I tried calling for him with treats and nothing. They usually don’t go far. It’s not night and I can’t find him. There have been two older ducks hanging around and trying to steal their food, one female and one male. The female seems to get along with them but the one male has pecked at the one duck (that is now missing and I assume is male). Just wondering what everyone thinks happened to him. I don’t see any sign of a fight, no feathers , nothing. He’s just gone

What kind of predators do you have many will grab and run off with their catch. I hope you can find your little one.

I hope he comes back for you, but unfortunately he may have been the victim of a predator. Or he may have gotten frightened by something and run off to hide.
