Sampson was my little Silkied Serama roo. He had a big heart and was sweet as pie. He loved the attention I gave him and was always good to his girls. I will miss you my dear little friend. He started acting off last week when we had some bad weather. I had a suspicion that he was older than the 3 years I was told, and I think his age just caught up with him. I had him in the garage this last week as his comb kept getting dark and he seemed cold. In the garage he seemed to perk up, his color was back and he seemed his old self. Today was such a nice day and he hadn't seen his girls all week, so I took him out to spend some time with them. I came back an hour later to check on him and he had passed......... I feel heart broken.
