R.I.P. Puff Daddy

A fox killed my banty rooster, a white frizzle cochin named Puff Daddy today

. The girls were dust bathing at the edge of the woods and he was keeping watch. I wasn't fifty feet away when it happened. He died protecting his ladies. He was a great little rooster. My husband called the Conservation Department and they are loaning us traps and they offered to shoot it for us as our ordinance prohibits us firing a weapon. This is now the fourth chicken lost to this fox. I'm so sad.
