I went outside as usual at 4am today to feed my birds and Scrapper, our guard cat.I fed the birds, but I didnt see Scrapper.I went out front hoping he didnt get hit by a car.

I found his body on the sewer manhole out front of our house. His head was crushed and his neck broken.

I picked him up and buried him in the backyard under his tree.

I miss him soo much that it hurts.

I never called him animal,or beast,or creature, but I treated him as an equal to me.I never have treated any animal I ever had as such.

I will never ever forget you Pappy.

Your pawprints will always be upon my heart. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I'm sorry for your loss. Animals have a funny way of walking into our lives and leaving pawprints all over our hearts when we have to say goodbye [IMG]

I am sorry. It isn't easy to lose an animal, especially one that you were really close to. [IMG]

    I miss you
I loved taking care of you
But now God has that chore
Hope the time that you were here was pleasant
And I do hope to see you again soon
Goodbye, til we meet again, Pappy

    You left deep imprints
    Pawprints on my heart
I brought you in to work
    To be a farm helper
    But your love drove deep
And your voice was so sweet

Everywhere outside leaves a memory of you
From being stuck on the roof
    To sleeping on the coops
Your door at the backyard fence
And your enjoyment of the garden

I loved how you guarded us
With your very life and soul
Todays rain is meant for you
    And for our tears

How can I look outside now?
How can I see no cat greeting the door in the morning
Or hearing your collar behind me
Remembering when you were sleeping on the railing
Always waiting for us to come outside
I will never forget these times

    You left deep imprints
    Pawprints on my heart
And thought I know I must move on
It wont be the same without you
You had no faults, none whatsoever
    And when its our time
To walk on that rainbow road
I pray, Scrapper, you will meet us there
    So you can see
    Those pawprints on my heart.

I'm so sorry Pappy is no longer visible in your yard, but but I believe he is still there, watching over everyone. We all know he will always be in your heart. [IMG]
