R.I.P. Scrapper (Pappy) UPDATE

I went outside as usual at 4am today to feed my birds and Scrapper,our guard cat.I fed the birds,but I didnt see Scrapper.I went out front hoping he didnt get hit by a car.


I found his body on the sewer manhole out front of our house.His head was crushed and his neck broken.

I picked him up and buried him in the backyard under his tree.

I miss him soo much that it hurts.

I never called him animal,or beast,or creature,but I treated him as an equal to me.I never have treated any animal I ever had as such.

I will never ever forget you Pappy.

Your pawprints will always be upon my heart.

I loved how you guarded us
With your very life and soul
Todays rain is meant for you

How can I see no cat greeting the door in the morning
Or hearing your collar behind me
Remembering when you were sleeping on the railing
Always waiting for us to come outside
