Hey all
Today I found one of my most beloved chickens dead. It was my cockerel, Hester. He was a special needs chicken, with a neck deformity he's had since he was an egg.
We found him in the corner of the run under some budlia trees, next to the compost bin. We figured that he hadn't gone to bed last night, so he must have died yesterday somewhen. He was so wet and bedraggled. I regret so much that I haven't taken hardly any pictures of him. I'm so shocked and sad, since he was only a little over a year old.
RIP, Hester
