rabbit breed recomendations

Lops are cute but a lot of them are temperamental and aggressive, really any rabbit can be like that though. I would recommend going to a rabbit show in your area and talking to the breeders there, many of them are hobby breeders and would be able to tell you all about the lineage and breed temperament they've experienced with their lines. You could also contact a rescue and talk with them about each rabbit they have available.

I've been breeding for about a decade and I can tell you my best and sweetest pets have been mini rex and Netherlands dwarf rabbits, males tend to be more outgoing, females tend to be better at cohabitation, and a good mother will generally produce more affectionate rabbits while bad mothers make some of the meanest little snots ever.

This has nothing to do with your post but there used to be a place called "Walt's Wabbit Wanch or Widdle Wabbit Waisers. I wanted to stop and get a widdle wabbit but my husband was driving, and spoil sport that he was, he wouldn't stop.
