WOW!!! I posted this thread and made the mistake of not being home all day!!!! I am so excited it took off! Love hearing bout everyones buns! MUST see some pics of the velveteen lops!

I am going to have to go get some pics of mine. Will anyone from here be at the Butler, PA show?

Neat thread ... we breed, raise, love and show ... top English Angoras (color & REW), Giant Angoras (Color & REW), and New Zealands (Broken Blacks, blues, & broken blues). Been doing the rabbit thing for more years than I have been alive ... Also second generation professional dog handler (generation 3 is now in the ring! as an adult!).

Im not a rabbit breeder but have had lots of rabbits over the past four years and some almost accidental breedings and was wondering if since there are so many knowledgeable people on here if maybe yall could help me find out what breed my favorite rescue buck is? Ive had him a little over a year, and he was found in the middle of a busy intersection on a rainy winter day.

I'll get some better pictures up but he is solid white, huge, and his ears and nose are grey. He has blue eyes that alot of times look red .

Ive been reading through this thread and LOVE all the information! Im a duck breeder by heart but Ive always wanted to get into rabbits if/when i can get my research done.

I just got in from the nestbox. mom was very understanding. she had 4 babies,3 different colors,I picked them all up and saw no problems. thanks for all the great advice.

No, the fake fur I am talking about is like fluffy wool, it almost looks like insulation. I just put a small handful loosely in the nest. You can order it from most rabbit supply places.
