Rabbit has been staying in laying room...???

My dad has been letting his rabbit stay in the layjng room of our OLD coop. I will be getting Layers this weekend. I have scooped out all the rabbit poo the best I can, Will this hurt my layers when they go in there ? There is PLENTY of ventalation in this area. What else do I need to do ? Any input would be great !

well..just try to get it as clean as possiable..and put down shavings for them..i think it should be fine..

Doesn't seem like they'd have any problems. Just as long as the hen doesn't lay the egg or put the egg on the poop while it's moist.
Make sure you got as much as you can. If there's some between the floor and wall or in cracks, you probably wouldn't have to worry because chickens tend to lay a good half-chicken-space from the wall.
