rabbit has flaky ears. What meds...

    Just noticed it...Probably ear mites....What should I put on it....

    At Seminole stores they carry the stuff. Its in a small bottle with a picture of a chicken on it but its for mites too. I can't remember the name of it but if you go there I sure that can help you. The bottle is only about an inch tall and square with a round top.

    I raised rabbits for years. When ours got ear mites, we would squirt mineral oil in the ears and massage them. Never once did it fail to get rid of them. When we took in a rabbit that had really bad caked up ears, we would put the mineral oil in then have to pick out the scabby flakes, then put more oil in for the remainder.

    We raise rabbits and the mineral oil does a WONDERFUL job!!
