RABBIT HEALTH EMERGENCY! ABCESS! HELP!

Thats good the vet found the problem. That is totally gross, but at least it should heal no.

I have a rabbit that I think got absesses and opened them himself.
The pus is out, but they still kinda smell a little.
It's totally gross.
What can I do to help him?
Obviously I want my rabbit in good health, but I don't raise them or breed them or anything. This is my son's pet and I don't want anything bad to happen to him, but we can't afford several vet visits and continued surgeries if these keep popping up. We have 2 rabbits and only 1 has this.

Rinse abscess with a peroxide solution(smell is infection)then apply an antibiotic ointment such as polysporin or vetericyn. Clean wound daily,until it starts to heal.

Is the polysporin or vetericyn over the counter medicines? (never heard of them)
If not, is there a comparible OTC one until he can get into the vet?

I believe polysporin is called neosporin(reg neosporin,without pain relief just in case they lick it,but i have used pain relief polysporin on my cats/dogs with no ill effects) in the U.S,vetericyn is carried by most pet stores.

Update-- In case anyone else has this issue wanted to let you guys know what it was-- Cuterebra!
It's a parasite larvae that can dig under the skin and infect it.
We were able to find another patch on him just starting and actually pull the worm out. Super gross!

Washed his wounds with a peroxide solution, put on some neosporin because all we could find and bandaged him up with some gauze. Hopefully he gets better!
