Rabbit Litter numbers

Thanks, my doe is always putting her hay in her nesting area, I think she wants to be a constant mom.

I have a lot to think about in regards to breeding my lops, my heart was set on it, now I don't know, any other breeding I could do would be mixes, and I definitely don't need anymore bucks just for one breeding for fun. Husband has agreed to one breeding, gotta make it count. I just want a few more friendly bunnies.
I hope you figure out away to get more friendly bunnies.
Good luck!

I would say he is not.

The broken gene is dominate. If you breed a broken to a solid about half the offspring will be broken. If you breed two brokens together, there is a 25% possibility of charlies, rabbits with two broken genes "EnEn" and Megacolon, which is something most rabbit breeders try to avoid.
Her last litter of 7 have 4 solids and 3 broken, and she, a broken was bred to a solid lionhead.

I may be naughty and risk it, but also considering crossing 1/2 lionhead to lop for 3/4 lops. I really want the lop ears, and easy going temperament though my lionhead lop crosses aren't horrible just a bit more scratchy. I'm gonna be dreaming rabbits for a while,

Just because, here's my favorite boy from last year's litter when he was younger and cuter, now he's a hormonal teenager.

When breeding a broken with a solid, I always got about half broken and half solid.
Husband says go for it, and see what happens, still pondering it but I may ultimately do it and see. If I get any charlies I will be sure to keep them myself. I appreciate everyone's input.
