I so love the Rex coats! Jacobs coat feels like velvet!! He is potty trained!!! Only took a couple days for him to get it down pat too!

I get tickled at him, when he wants out of his cage he will gnaw on the cage bars, so I put our Boxer and Schnauzer up and out he comes (our Chihuahua doesnt bother him)

BUT Jacob (mini rex BABY) chases the poor cat all over the place lol

MomtoSyd&Emma :

Patches is GORGEOUS, I love the odd marked ones!

Thank you

This is Hamilton, he's my little guy! He loves Goldfish crackers and paper towel tubes as treats and play things. But his favorite this is to be outside, he has a 10'x12' dog kennel (with a sun shade) that he spends as much time as possible. We take him in for storms and whens the heat gets over 98 or so and he gets so upset at us he clucks and fusses the whole way back inside. Him and his old pal Oreo put the dogs inline, so they were "top dog" until the chickens, he gets so jealous over the chickens, and I swear they tease each other! He's litter trained (he trained himself) and neutered, he has one of the quietest temperment of any of my past rabbits, quite shy sometimes!

This is his indoor "prison" . . .

Shelli, we love it!! We got a great deal on it many years ago (I think that one is about 5 years old, maybe 6, DH and I can't agree!), we liked it so much we bought a second for our other rabbit so they would have plenty of indoor space. My favorite is the WHOLE bottom slides out and then you just remove the grated bottom to expose the trays. Our trick is to use cat litter liners from the $1 store (box of 8 liners) and cover the tray with those, so when it's time to change (almost never for us because he almost only uses his potty) we just lift up the plastic and toss (you can even rinse and reuse if concerned about too much waste. The cage itself is amazingly sturdy, the nesting box that attaches is definitely Ham's "safe" place, and it's nice because if you need to keep him contained for a second (like grabbing the potty) you can just drop the lid down to keep him in the nesting box for a second. We've had many rabbit homes over the years, but this has been the best for indoors we've seen. Highly recommend! HTH!!

Hi! This is an entirely homemade rabbit cage, created out of square tubing and hardware cloth. its on our back porch. as you can see we have a very large rabbit, a flemish giant doe named Sugar (shes extremely sweet!) shes a big baby mamma; last time i weighed her she was 23 lbs 14 oz.! the bottom of her cage was our specialty; we fit it so she would be able to walk on plastic instead of wire due to her huge feet. the plastic is 3 pieces bent over the tubing and angled downwards so everything rolls or runs down and falls into the bucket below! have fun and enjoy your rabbits!
