Can quail drink from them or is it best to use a small chicken waterer?

Rabbit water bottles are a bit too big for them. Hamster or mouse bottles are best if you want to us a nipple.

The pen I'm getting for them is a used rabbit hutch. He has a lot of extra equipment to go with it. I was just curious. I will buy chicken waterers. Thank you

I bought a qt rabbit water bottle and it works well. Drips too much for inside use but they like and use it . They prefer the quail size water fonts thou, may be cuz that's what they were used to as well...Bill

Do you have to teach them to drink out of it or do they just figure it out. This seems like a great way to keep the water clean and cut down on the mess.

The second I attached the bottle they started pecking at it. LOL They learned right away that water comes out when you do that!
