Rabbit waterer

Okay are the nipple water systems like a rabbit bottle waterer? If so could a person use a Rabbit bottle waterer for chicks?

I use them all the time in my brooder. The water stays nice and clean. It was pretty easy to teach the chicks to use them. The "chicken see, chicken do" technique works best. The drawbacks are the constant tap-tap-tapping all day and night! ( My baby brooder is in the house) Also, if a bit of bedding gets kicked up alongside the bulb the waterer doesn't work. You have to check them frequently to make sure they are not jammed. I almost killed a group of "tweens" in an outside brooder because I didn't realize the waterer was jammed. If I use them now I use two at all times.

How many chicks will a rabbit waterer water (with filling once a day) and at what age?

I wonder too I know they make different sizes. Good question
