rabbits and chickens

i'm just wondering whether you can keep rabbits and chickens in the same coop?

got some chickens in my greenhouse and have some rabbits in cages in there, too

yes they can. i have heard about others on here owning both.

i think you might need to seperate them for feed etc.

I've been reading a lot about people suspending their rabbit cages in the chicken coops.. which is what I may do when I pick up my rabbits today.

Some rabbits are extremely sensitive to the dust that chickens kick up. Please make sure your facility is EXTREMELY well ventilated and rabbits are away from any dust bathing spots. Watch the rabbits carefully. If they start showing signs of allergy or congestion, (a rattle in the chest when you hold them,) you need to move them ASAP.

Also, obviously, be sure the chickens can not perch on top of the cages.

My bunny has been living with my chickens his whole life. The chickens have a coop and a big covered run, his hutch is in the run and I leave it open all the time. He can use it when he wants to. He and the chickens dont mind each other at all. They love to lay their eggs in his hutch, and he loves to eat their chicken food. when it is night time I close the chickens up in their coop and he gose to bed in his hutch. I put his bunny food and his water bottel in his hutch, but the chickens use them sometimes also. He dose dig out every now and then. I just pick him up, fill in the hole, and put him back. I did have a really mean roo that tried to beat my bunny up once, but my bunny just truned around and kicked that roos butt (it was so funny), and that roo never tried anything ever again.

cute bunny, i was thinking of keeping the bunny in the same coop as the chickens. It is a 12 chicken coop, i am thinking of keeping 4 ducks, 1 being a drake, 4 or 5 chickens and a rabbit. would that be okay?

the run is about 35ft by 20ft.
