Rabbits, Chicks & Ducks Oh My!!

Hi All..just wanted to introduce myself and give you alittle insight to my new madness/adventure!! My husband and I are from Wyoming and we just purchased a home about a year ago on almost a acre of land. So we decided about a month ago to invest in some chickens for egg laying. Then we invested in 2 rabbits. Then one morning discussing it with hubby we decided to purchase some ducklings. Instant hobby farm lol. We are in the process of building a 16' x 8' chicken coop, which I am hoping will house both the chickens and ducks, with the rabbit hutch inside the coop above the ground. For now we have all 14 chicks in a brooder doing very well..have had them for 5 days. The ducklings, 3 of them are in another brooder and have had them for 3 days and doing well. The 2 rabbits are in seperate cages, one doe and one buck. This is all so new to me and I just pray that this will be a rewarding experience with tons of excitement and joy for years. Also on top of all the new animals we also have 3 indoor cats and 1 dog lol. Plus,starting a new greenhouse..so never a dull moment around here!! I have already decided I need to start a journal to keep track of the progress..no way will I be able to remember it all. Everyday, the more I read up on the care of them I find little tips to try and help make this a success. Thanks for invite and I'm sure you will be hearing more from this newbie!!
