So twice now I've seen rabbits go right in and out of my premier netting. Test the fence and it's working. What's keeping fox out?? Is that normal? I can kinda see how they can hop through and not get shocked as they'd be mid hop and not grounded, but still...

Near as I can tell, plain ignorance or unreasonable fear is keeping the fox out, they're generally reliable at figuring out ways through electric netting. ;)

I know sheep rarely get shocked because of their fur type apparently, some say it's because of the wool but this goes for hair sheep without wool, with very little lanolin too, they stroll through electric wires without a care, despite these wires being used to prevent pigs from leaving areas.

Best wishes.

I have Premier's netting. I haven't had any problems with rabbits going through. But a couple of years ago, I had some young pullets just jump through. If they are not in contact with the ground, they won't get shocked. If you have good voltage, a fox is not going to mess with the fence. I have more than a couple of fox around here, and they won't even approach the fence anymore.
