We've got a little flock of 8 hens, and two New Zealand White rabbits that all share our fenced-in yard. For whatever reason, the two rabbits have decided to harrass one hen in particular. They chase her around the yard, jump on her as if mating, pluck out her feathers, and generally make life miserable for her. It's just this one particular hen. I got a hen saddle for her, but I haven't been able to get it on her yet. The better solution would be to find a way to stop the rabbits from going after her. Has anyone run into this before? I would hate to have to pen up either the rabbits or the chickens, as generally they get along fine, and they had stopped bothering her after her last molt, but now it's starting up again. Any suggestions?
