ok yall so i have a standard chinchilla doe that is mainly a pet but we also raised a couple litters off of we got her 5 or 6 years ago and she was already 2-3 years then, i knew she was getting old but today when i went to feed her i noticed that she was barley using her back legs, i picked her up (which she hates) and her legs and hips felt so bony, i hadnt noticed it before because she is so fluffy, we will probably be putting her down but i just wanted some other opinions to make sure that this is due to old age

I would have her checked by the vet. I don't deal with these. I had a dog when I was young very old who had something similar. And we had to put him down. A disk in his back cause issues in his legs and couldn't walk. Check it out as soon as possible. If they can help her it has to be early not later.
