A fleshy, meaty looking chunk about as large as the last joint of your thumb was most likely a placenta. A placenta forms at the spot where a fetus attaches to the inside of the mother's uterus; it is sorta like the "plug" where the umbilical cord attaches (it's more complicated than that, but that's close enough). Normally, the doe eats the placentas, the umbilical cords, and the fetal membranes as she cleans the kits, but sometimes she may miss one or two, particularly if the babies get born rapidly.

Thank

Thank you so much I thought it was bad. Still new at this I have had my rabbits a year but I waited to be sure they were old enough this is her second litter. And all looks good. The other doe will give birth tomorrow or the next day. I have 4 does and 1 buck. And 4 weeks ago I had another set of kits. Out of 10, 8 lived . They are so so cool. I am going to give them 2 months break after the kits are weand. I don't want to stress them . . Do you think that enough time . In between kits

I have a question. Has anyone ever heard of splitting the kits in to 2 nest so she can feed all 10?

She has not fed them yet.

A doe is "plumbed" for 10; in theory, she should be able to feed them all at once. In practice, though, it's not unusual to lose a couple because of all the competition. You could split the litter, but that would mean you'd have to be extra diligent about seeing to it that each set of babies got a turn - if you kept both groups in the cage with the doe, you can't be sure that the doe would do that.

ok thank u

I think the blood is coming from kits. Today I was working in the yard. I came in to wash my hands put the kits and mom into create . But two of the colored kits light gray and dark gray ran around the cage. I not sure where the white one was at the time. But I saw a spot of that blood spatter come out. Not sure which one it was that fast.but the white one had some of it on that kit. I didn't see it on the other one. But one of the light gray ones has been mated in the pooh and I had to wash the kit repeatedly . I seen it also in the dark one also.
