I'm confused. Now you have 2 sets of kits with the same mom. In the same area?
no no I have 4 does 3 have had kits recently 1 set on Christmas day. 1 set about 10 days ago 1 set about 7 days ago all different mom's all in different areas . I have 2 (nursery pens 5X5 X 4 foot high) I keep the does that are pregnant there a week before they have the kits till they get 4 weeks old then i move them back to there hutch outside . The shed is 30 X 50 and close so I keep an eye on them easily and play with them. I raise them for meat, as well as the birds. I keep them happy and healthy , until I harvest them. It's 23 total sense Xmas . Sorry if I didn't explain it right.

ok sorry I got confused it's 3 am here. Lol

We will have two sets on 17 th

I see the medium black cage there. Why don't you just keep the mail locked up? Just curious. Also when my new Zealand Whites have more than 10 kits at once I split the kits in to 2 nest in the same area so she can feed them both on her own time . I find it to be less stressful in her and more live. How old again are the one's running around again? Do you give the nursing mom some kind of powdered milk replacement to help her keep up?

I do most of the time.but that day I forgot to latch it. I had an emergency .the males in black cage. In the back.in tub. I have the small kennel and the little bit bigger by the wall. Depending on how many she has on 17 we will pick which ones go where. The issue is the heater. It's across the kennel under box.we can't move it.the cords not long enough.and kits and mom will eat it there's no way to attach it across tub.and mirror to make it back to outlet. There's only one outlet.and bigger kits need room to explore. Mom needs to feed both sets so I can't lock it up.

We do most of the time. I had an emergency that day and forgot to latch it. He in the black cage. The issue is heating pad it can't move .and mom has to feed both sets. And ones know have to move around.

ok cool. How old are the kits now?the loos ones

They where born dec 28 th. There on the move. There climbing on bathroom counter. I have to figure out where to put them. But can't yet. I have to work on the chicken coop and duck area. We our going to look at two wild ducks and get them set up. I just hoping it runs in our favor. The chicken eggs didn't hatch and one died. So we can't manage it at moment it's going to take a little while to get everyone and pet in their proper places.

Sorry a lot on my mind at moment. Where very busy . We had a bad storm these last week. It riped out the incubator and coops. No ones where they should be intell repairs can all get done . One project at a time.
