There was a duck local to me posted online (broody girl, raccoon attack, you get the picture) many people said to cull her but I stepped up and took her, I didn't think her injuries were so horrible and took her to the vet but since the raccoon didn't rip her leg off at the joint she needed amputation which I couldn't afford right then and it was urgent she got the surgery. I gave her up to Rooster Haus Rescue and they got her amputation and after her leg is healed she will be fit for a prosthetic. Here are the photos I got of her and a drawing I did, if you wanna see more of her and see her updates check Rooster Haus Rescue on Facebook.

What a wonderful thing you did for her. They are amazing how they adapt. Will she live there the rest of her life?

Yes she probably will, a friend of mine runs it and her nonprofit sanctuary is excellent, she also with a prosthetic might be able to play outside in their special needs duck area

That is awesome. Some are just so special to take in unwanted injured animals and to go way beyond to help them recover. Makes me feel good about the human race. :)
