Raccoon attack

I have 1 year old producing Easter Egger that was attacked by raccoon two days ago. Her right leg was eaten to the bone from just above the foot up to the top of her thigh. After she got over the shock she is eating and drinking and still producing eggs.

She needs an amputation before infection sets in.

Is she walking on the leg?
Some horrific injuries can heal if kept clean. Can you post pictures of her leg?
