I don't know, but after reading the opening post I must urge caution. That raccoon's behavior is off, even by raccoon standards. They are quite bold and persistent, but not usually THAT bold and persistent. I believe you may have a sick animal. Please be careful. Call someone if you need to. Don't take any chances. Don't let it bite you, scratch you, or spray saliva on you. That is NOT normal behavior. And I hear rabies shots are really painful.

I asked my husband about that too. Because I have three lights on my headlight. One is red and I turned it on and looked him right in the eye. And he just set there looking at me and watching us lock the hens up. I told my husband if we catch him we calling Wild Live guy and he can take him off.
But we head to town right after church for shells.
