I don't know, but after reading the opening post I must urge caution. That raccoon's behavior is off, even by raccoon standards. They are quite bold and persistent, but not usually THAT bold and persistent. I believe you may have a sick animal. Please be careful. Call someone if you need to. Don't take any chances. Don't let it bite you, scratch you, or spray saliva on you. That is NOT normal behavior. And I hear rabies shots are really painful.
