Radio in coop to keep away racoons

My dogs do a phenomenal job of alerting me to predators and my coop is secure but we have bears.They'll destroy a coop if you don't have dogs that alert you

Oh boy! Bears!! Yep I am sure if I was in a different area I would have dogs that would be my helpers, but as it is, my dogs are in at night so no alerting by them. Well that's not totally true because if there's any noise out back they do alert but they wouldn't be much help. I'm glad your dogs have a job

We have bears too and they've destroyed mostly bird feeders but they couldn't get into the coop. It's one end of an Amish shed.

This was about two weeks ago.

Nope, just the usual black bears with cubs which can be vicious but we got the dogs in the house fast and then she settled down and got her cubs and left.
