So, all the sudden it started raining super hard.

The ducklings are 7 weeks, and have most of their feathers. They are in the dog pen. We keep them in there. The dog pen has a partial overhang. It also has a dog house that they can crawl into and be fully covered, with its own wood chips inside.

However...when I went to check on them with the heavy rain its 43 degrees and with lots of rain.

They looked pretty wet.

Is it going to be a mistake to leave them outside?

They somehow weren't smart enough to figure out to go inside the dog house, which has a roof and walls around it. (And big enough for all of them to go into.) I can't for the life of me figure out why they didn't go in it.

Would you leave them out? There's not a lot of wind. But the rain is coming down pretty good.

This is a good chance for me to learn what to do also for the next time.
