Rain

Hello everybody. We have had some heavy rain here in Belgium and my Margo and Babs seeem intent on sitting out in it and getting soaked. Both are silkies . However with their wet spikey hair they look like two punk rockers. I put them away at night for safety but they are so wet. i provide lots of straw for them to snuggle into. At present Margo is broody but still comes out to get a soaking before returning to the coop. Is it ok for them to get wet and does anybody elses chickens love the rain like my pair of numptys do hahahaha ?

I've had some chickens that didn't mind the rain and some that do. Guess it's an individual sort of thing.

Our birds have the option to get under various shelters but they choose to get soaked. It's not bad for them to get wet. They're just being a little daft
