Rainbow Chickens?! Is this possible?!

I have seen lots of pictures of blue, purple, pink, green and yellow Silkie chickens, all the pics say they are not photo shopped or dyed, and I find this hard to believe. This may sound like a dumb question, but, is there a way to breed multi colored, chickens?

Nope, they're dyed People dye silkies all the time, especially around easter. They use white silkies.

X2 on that, despite that fact that dyeing chicks is illegal in about half of the 50 states.
