Raised coop vs on-grade

We built ours 24" off the ground. Has been fantastic so far. Our girls like to hang out under the coop when it gets too hot in the day for them. Been a couple of years and so far I really like the design that we went with.

Thank you! It has changed slightly since that post. Have added clear corrugated roofing over the nest box and part of the run with more to coverage come in the near future.
