Raising 10 Chicks...

A good friend is taking 10 of the chicks I'm getting from MM in Feb. I've never had a small brooder. Mine are 5 x 10 and 7 x 7...no problem with overcrowding!

How big should his brooder be? It will likely be in his garage.

1 sq ft per chick but you know how fast they grow. With proper heat I would go big and not small.
