I can relate when we had our newly hatched duckling[ drake] in our house first 2 months of his life he slept in the dog beds and crate just like he was one of them, he even went for walks with us like a puppy, although I had to carry him alot.

First time duckling owner here...I am so shocked at the feel of their fuzz! It's nothing like chick fuzz, which is so silky. The closest thing I can compare it to is like a rough fleece, or maybe felt...so bizarre!
