We had 6 chickens up in the Northern California mountains by Tahoe, but unfortunately two bears decided to have a chicken feast one night.
Since then we have moved to South Carolina and have a few acres, so I’m making another attempt at it. I have 9 chicks currently, but also have 9 more that will be on their way in a week or so. They will be mostly free range so I’ve started giving them an hour or so a day for them to stretch their legs and wings. They love their free time!
Just for fun, anyone wanna guess their breeds!? Last picture was when I first got them.
