How adorable is this? Man, wish they had had those kind of walkers around when Richard started walking! Seems really different to see them using it with the front open.
Anyone else here have their child use one like this? How did it work for you guys if so.

This little man can talk pretty good.
Richard was a little later in his talking. He's always been quiet, until lately. When he's around his youtube friends, he talks! He was just asked to help film another one a few days ago. If I ask one question..about his youtubing..I get a lot of talking. lol.

This little guy was afraid of the ..big .. bump! Mom! Mom! Mom helps of course. Again, love this walker. We had the old type, put some tennis balls on the front so it would slide for him at first, (we had mostly carpet) the rubber would not slide on carpet.... then they came off. That was a big deal don't ya know. He could walk around with his walker pretty good. Then, a really big deal when he got to the arm crutches. I will see if I can find a photo of him with his walker..he has the biggest smile on his face walking down the hall.

Kendra has two walkers...she has her gait trainer and a walker like the one in the video you shared. Both of them have the open front. She uses the smaller one in the classroom, but we use the gait trainer because it has a seat in it. We like that one for longer walks in the summer when she can get outside because she can sit for a few minutes if she gets too tired. Unfortunately even the smaller walker is too clumsy and big for our small houses....<sigh> They don't think she's ready for arm crutches, but I sure wish they'd try it before they just dismiss it.

I'll have to find some photos, but when Jessica plays combination games with the younger kids, the smaller team has a little boy with a walker like this. He traps the soccer ball in the walker and trucks on down the field and scores.

Yes, we missed out on them. Cute..I can see a little one going down the field now with the walker. It looks great.

Blooie, push them for those crutches! They make them for little ones. You would need to make sure she got some therapy with them first..and of course, you all go home with the know how with them. They can be pretty scary at first. You worry about them falling and braking an arm.

I could only find this one photo with the little soccer guy in his walker. He is HALF the size of Jessica and she is MUCH smaller than most of these kids and he got right in there and stole the ball.

Had to share. Love those Grandchildren..they are so cute with those curious questions at times.....


Cutest thing ever...A daughter came by with her boys today. One of the boys sees the eggs that I had gathered so far on the counter. He comes up to me and asks..Grandma, did you paint those eggs, or did they come out that way? So cute! Children are amazing with their great questions about interesting new things to them.

I brought a dozen eggs to my son's kindergarten teacher last week..
The kids all thought they were easter eggs.

I explained they really were easter eggers eggs.
The teacher was even confused.
It was so cute.
