Raising chickens enjoying it

I'm new to the raising chicken business. I have week old welsummer's, production red and a barred plymouth rock. I wanted to start this to watch them grow and lay some eggs for my family's enjoyment to eat, Also to learn something new. I found this website and have been going back ever since day one, which was about a month ago. Very informative site..... looking at several coop designs to decide on which one will work for me.
