Raising Chickens in Wyoming

[Wyo chickens]

I am the mother of 4 and we started raising chickens when the neighbor bought baby chicks for their kids at Easter but didn't want them when they grew up. That was over 8 years ago. Now we order baby chicks every year or two and the kids, ages 5-14, show them at the county fair. We have about 20 different breeds so each kid gets to choose and show their own. We primarily raise them for eggs.

I also did the chickens and kids combo....fast forward 30 years and now do the chicken/grandkids combo.
