Raising Geese in the southwest?

So I wanted to ask about this...

Do you have to do things differently raising geese in dry arid southwest like Arizona, and New Mexico? What do people do to raise geese in places like that? (Assuming they can...?)

I guess just make absolutly sure there’s always enough water not just for drinking but bathing and that they have access to shade to cool off.
