I try. It's very good that you noticed Mary's situation. She is lucky to have you in her corner.
No doubt there's lots of room for improvement, but I try.

Aww. Thanks for asking. She is teaching them deep excavation. Also she doesn’t approve of chick feed in bowls (she sent a cast iron pot full of feed flying across the Chicken Palace). She believes youngsters should dig for their food!Any news on Tassels and the squids @RoyalChick ?
She tried so hard to have children. I'm so glad she has dived right into it. She must be so happy.Tassels has really embraced her new lifestyle!
The flap-run zoomies are one of my favourite things about chicks. They are trying to fly which is quite hilarious.
That’s so wonderful that she accepted them!Aww. Thanks for asking. She is teaching them deep excavation. Also she doesn’t approve of chick feed in bowls (she sent a cast iron pot full of feed flying across the Chicken Palace). She believes youngsters should dig for their food!
She hasn’t taken them all the way outside yet which I am a bit relieved about as a hawk has taken up residence in the tree shading the Chicken Palace, but she leads them on ever more daring excursions within the Palace.
They are impossible to photograph because they move so fast. They are trying to fly which is quite hilarious. Mid-air collisions always lead to a lot of squealing like giggles.
As predicted Tassels is a very calm and dedicated mother. She only rarely warns the Aunties away. And she talks to the babies constantly. I think she seems very happy with them.
