After many attempts of counting without trying to make then scatter about I think there's 48 and 2 of those aren't looking so good. :/ sorta no pep. So I think if seemingly active healthy ones pop off these two are probably soon to follow.
Hmmmm
i made an adjustment to the brooder and blocked off a third of it to keep it warmer. They're still small and we built the brooder to be able to house them for a few weeks. So maybe it'll help, I know its not too hot but I didn't think it was too cold either just don't know what else to try.
Hard to "wait n see" and look for signs that I'm not seeing besides being lethargic before dying usually at nap time. I'd think they're too young for heart failure. Too old for shipping stress or failure to thrive? Too young for mereks. No bloody or loose stools. Bleh. I have to go clean up the rabbitry and I'll do some more searching.
*still like the CX although I'm getting nailed on losses at the moment.
Makes me really appreciate layer chicks hardiness!
