Raising our 1st set of CX meaties

They're 4 weeks old now. Almost 2lbs a piece.

There feed is in troughs made of PVC with the ends screwed to wood blocks to prevent tipping.

In the pic their eating out of one of the layer chick feeders with capped ends lol the Runts use it to not het trampled.

Looking good! What do you have their feed in? I hope the temps start to warm up by the 3rd week in January. I think mine will be ready to go outside at that time. I'm getting nervous now. I'm ready to cancel my order. :/

We got an Ez plucker 151 coming next Friday...50 more chicks on the 3rd and now he wants MORE. Sad we didn't order more Jan 3rd broilers lol
