raising our first flock in central Vermont

Hi BYC gang,

Getting started with our first flock in central Vermont. They're almost 6 weeks old now: 3 Buff Orpingtons (The Butter Sisters: Plugra, Parkay, and Lil Pat Mutombo) and 3 Easter Eggers (Hombre Bill, Warren Ellis, and Stardog). They just moved into the big kid coop a few days ago and all is going very well so far... my asthmatic lungs are extremely relieved to have those little dust devils out of the basement brooder. Nervously waiting to see if we've got any cockerels in the bunch...

Thanks for all the advice I've gotten so far while lurking!
