Raising the federal gas tax

since it hasnt been raised in 15 years the feds are discussing raising it 10 cents per gal. MINIMUM.

I get the "lack of money for continued repairs and improvement" I get it since we lack money for a new roof and other home repairs.
What I dont get is how "we" have money to send over seas to help rebuild places we have destroyed and places we havent been near. Yet now "we" have no money to take care of ou own roads.

I am so frustrated with this country and the people running it into the ground on all levels.
What is it going to take for more people to get mad and do something about it? A 40cent federal gas tax hike??

I am not happy the way things are being handled and mis spent. More likely they spend it on pork barrel projects!

The sad part about this is the other week our "so-called" pres. acted as if he didn't even know that gas was almost $4 a gallon. O.K. where has he been?

It's time a blue-collar person (female or male) with alot of common-sense ran for President, with no special interests or big money ties. They'd do what is right for the average Joe/Jane and not the rich who only get richer.

If you want to see a socialist type system you need not look any further than Canada. Better watch out, them evil Canadians may spike the bacon and beef they export to you and then invade!
