Raisins

Really dumb question, but gotta ask.

Raisins. Do you give them whole or do you cut them up?

I told you! Silly question. I'm a paranoid mama. Don't wanna do mouth to beak on any of my girls

Can't find any info on cutting raisins up. The few posts about raisins do not mention cutting. I wouldn't bother for adult chickens. Probably would for chicks.

Lotta sugar in raisins. I think I'd feed green feed instead.

When mine were babies I cut up raisins for them but now that they're older they get them whole. They Love Raisins! When I bring out the raisins, it becomes a piranha-like feeding frenzy. But they do have a lot of sugar in them, so I keep them for special occasion rewards like comb balming and butt waxing.

Grapes work well but are more expensive.
