Ramp help 101

hi everyone!
I’m in need of some help! My silkies are 12 weeks old and I’ve been trying to train them to use the ramp, I’ve put the food up on the higher level and they really won’t use the ramp!

Does anyone have any tips or tricks?

Sometimes there is nothing you can do they will figure it out on there own. Maybe you try putting the food in the coop.

How steep is the ramp? They won't use it if the angle is too steep.

Definitely wider the better and not steep. My Silkie can use the ramp in my pens but they are duck friendly ramps too.

That looks pretty steep. You could try adjusting the angle by putting a cinderblock under the end. If the cinderblock is too high for them, put a brick next to it to make a step. Try sprinkling mealworms or any treat on the ramp for them to find. Meanwhile, put food down lower so they don't go without.
