Ramp too low?

Now the next challenge is going to be teaching them to use the roosts. Right now they just huddle in a corner.

Well, one of the birds has learned to roost, just not where she should. Every night when we go out to close the door on the coop, I find one of the girls 6 1/2' up on a rafter in the run. Once I grab her and put her in the coop, she won't go on the roost...

These chickens really need to start reading the same books we read...

Update: Some of my birds are starting to use the roosts ....
