Ran out if Feed PLEASE HELP!!!

Scramble eggs with cooked rice, my cockerels and pullets love raw rice too. Cooked lentils, red river cereal, oatmeal, cornmeal, wheat, or other minimally processed cereal mixed with scrambled egg. Mine love fish but it shouldn’t be salted. Squash... there are lists of edibles suitable for chickens that should tie them over until Friday. Make sure they get enough protein at that age. And should probably give them some sand/grit.

I would guess the layer feed (maybe soaked) plus maybe the scrambled eggs and other things mentioned, ought to be fine for short term/or in a pinch, until you can get chick feed. Should have all the vitamins and minerals a chicken needs, just not in the correct portions. Of course it wouldn’t be good to only feed the layer feed long term.

EDIT: Plus I don’t know if you have enough eggs to feed ravenous chicks eggs only for days:D

I've never done this before, I normally have enough chicks to use up a whole bag or I put the whole flock on starter feed. Have you noticed any side effects like people normally say (early maturity, health issues when they get older, long term health issues as the chickens age, etc.)? Would this be something she could do with also making scrambled eggs?
Eggs work too. I have over 30 chicks currently eating either layer crumble or layer mash along with whatever their mama's find for them. I've never bought actual chick feed before 2 years ago, and had a rooster raised on it and feed only layer along with free ranging and he lived to 9 years old

What part of FL do you live? If it's anything like here in S.E. AL, it's still hot and plenty of bugs for those youngins to eat. Bugs, greens and weeds are a lot better for them than any store bought feed. You just gotta keep an eye on them when they're that little so they don't get into trouble.
i live PSL Florida and its always hot outside and the have a fenced in area where they are running around in right know

I am going to make them some oatmeal with rice, plain yogurt, grit, and some veggies for know until can go to TSC. Thank you for all of your guys help i really appreciate it

If you give them scrambled egg, put some chick grit ( or some dirt from the yard) in their brooder.
I'm sure they will be fine with eggs until Monday. I'd feed that before feeding layer feed.
i have some grit and i will defiantly put some in their food !

my mom says the same thing she said she would rather have them eat food we make for them instead of store bought chick food
