Ok so i noticed that alot of people have ranch or farm names on there websites and i was wondering how you came up with the names. I am new to breeding to a standard and was thinking that i should make a website for it. If you would be so helpful and say how you got the name or chose it i would be very great-full.

*ETA - 7H if you see this i hope you dont mind but im using you for an example. 7H has a farm called 7H and i dont get how that name would come along.

Our farm name is a hybrid of the name of the old farm that was on our property 50 or 60 years ago and we combined with with a name that would demonstrate what we do now, i.e. It used to be the old Farview Dairy, and it is now Farview Acres Clydesdales.

When we bought our place every thing was nice and dry. Then we had the wettest year come along.... Our place is 2.46 acres. For 5 months, everytime we tried to dig a post hole it would fill up with water. Therefore our farm name...... The Swampy Deuce.

Our old house has a vineyard, named Deer Gulch. Down the road was the Funny Farm with a little pony a some chickens. :3

Serenity Farms- I went through a divorce and when I first moved to the place there was no phone, no cell service, no internet..... I ran to town 2 to 3 times per night going stir crazy. My chickens, the farm, the pond, taught me again how to actually relax, thus the name.

People that stop by my hobby farm always say that my animals look so happy and that they look like 4-H show animals. And since I live on a few acres, I came up with the name Happy Acres Farm.
