sara - I'll keep you posted on Lucas. I'm sure I'll be overrun with blue chicks in the spring....maybe sooner. I'll give you a call when I start hatching them. My adult pen is not laying, but the babies have started so may run some test eggs through once I have their black roo with them.

Thanks for your offer Jean. That is so kind of you. I will definitely keep it in mind and appreciate your generosity to help.

I just cracked open some of the eggs from Big Bear's pen and they are fertile.

I am so excited and can't wait to start hatching them.
